Water for Kids


Children need plenty of water to stay hydrated and healthy ,water also its necessary to keep their body working properly.Its challenge to get children to drink enough water because most children prefer the sweet taste of juice, chocolate milk or soda.

We should teach our children why water is important this can motivate them to drink more water, sometimes we need to go extra mile to make them drink water by telling them they will be healthier and feel better.

Also we must make sure to have children take along a bottle of water with them when they’re going to school; this will help to reduce the risk of children to drink unclean water and will encourage them to drink water whenever they are thirsty.

In the process of making children drinking water we can start by buying their favorite bottle of water with cool designs, they will definitely be more absorbed with water if drinking from their favorite bottle.

Another idea is to purchase a special cup or glass that children will be used only for water, water from a brightly colored picture will attract young ones to drink water.

Even though a glass of water in good and keep children adequately hydrated also we can give children fruits which has water for them to consume such as water melon, oranges and strawberries.

KIDS MUST SWIM



Some of us we didn't get to learn swimming till when we grow up. I am sure I wasn't the only one.
Let do different for our kids, let them learn something extra in their life and who knows they might be the best swimmer like Michel Phelps and Jenny Thompson and swimming could become their career. Give them the chance to swim.
Swimming is considered to be a healthy, relaxing, and an excellent activity for the children. It's one of the best forms of excise that has a lot of health benefits. It is fun form of exercise that should be introduced in early age.
Apart from that swimming can be a wonderful recreation activity for families. Kids who do regular swimming can learn to set goals and work to achieve them. Other astounding benefits of swimming to your kids include;
  •       Swimming builds confidence and self-reliance for kids.
  •       Swimming makes children better athletes
  •       Swimming teach children how to interact with other kids
Kids with great relationship with water opens door for other water sports. Also, swimming is a good sport which can be done through life time.
As parents, there is a precaution we must take into account; that is to make sure we are always around or let an adult to be around when our kids are swimming. Also;
  •        We should not allow kids to run along swimming areas especially on pools.
  •         Kids should not eat while swimming because they can choke
  •         Kids should not swim in dark after the sun set even if there is enough light to see the water 
  •         Kids should not dive in swimming pools
***This should be a challenge to parents, let our kids swim***

UMUHIMU WA KUNAWA MIKONO




Watoto wanatakiwa  wakiwaambia kunawa mikono yao kwa sabuni kabla ya kula, baada ya kutumia maliwato na bafu, au wakati wa kutoka kucheza. Huu ni ujumbe wa thamani kwa afya za watoto wetu.

Wakati watoto wakicheza na wenzao  kwa kutojua wanaweza kuambukizwa au kuambukizana magonjwa kwa kugusana.Kitendo kidogo cha kunawa mikono kwa sabuni kinaondoa hatari ya kuambukizwa magonjwa ya tumbo,kipindupindu na maambukuzi ya magonjwa mengine.

Kuosha Mikono Kwa Usahihi

Hii itasaidia kuua vijidudu mbali mbali vienezao magonjwa. Ni vizuri kuwafundisha watoto wako utaratibu huu wewe ukiwa mfano -nawa mikono yako pamoja mara nyingi pia waonyeshe na kuwaelekeza watoto jinsi  na

Ili kupunguza hatari ya kupata vijidudu vya magonjwa kwa watoto, cha kufanya ni kuhakikisha  kuwa mikono ya watoto inakuwa safi mara kwa mara kwa kunawa hasa:

• Kabla ya kula

. Baada ya kula 

• Baada ya kutumia maliwato

•Baada ya kutoka kucheza

• Baada ya kutoka shuleni
